About OHFA's Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance
Mortgage lenders work with OHFA to provide down payment and closing cost assistance to homebuyers in all 77 counties. Qualified homebuyers receive a 30-year fixed rate low-interest mortgage loan with 3.5 percent down payment assistance. Oklahoma school employees, first responders, and state employees may also qualify for a special reduced interest rate.
When utilizing an OHFA loan product, buyers who bring their own down payment to the closing table may benefit from a lower interest rate and/or a reduced mortgage insurance coverage requirement on conventional loans.
Buyers interested in purchasing a home by utilizing OHFA's down payment and closing cost assistance can visit www.ohfa.org/homebuyers for more information.
