Deborah Jenkins was named executive director in 2017. She joined the Agency in 1983, serving 18 years on the executive leadership team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma City University School of Law. She holds leadership positions for MetaFund, the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA), and the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) at the state and national levels.
Kurt Fite directs the finance and information technology initiatives and assists in the overall administration of OHFA programs. Prior to being named to his current position in 2017, Fite served as OHFA’s Financial Reporting Manager. A Certified Public Accountant, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
Darrell Beavers has implemented OHFA’s multifamily financing programs since 1999, previously directing bond administration. Beavers holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Lee Ann Smith has directed OHFA’s homeownership initiatives since 1999. An FHA Direct Endorsement underwriter and VA automatic underwriter, her mortgage career spans more than 30 years. Smith serves on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Mortgage Banker Association and Genworth Mortgage Insurance Corp HFA Advisory Board.
Valenthia Doolin joined OHFA in October 2021 to lead the Homeowner Assistance Fund. Doolin's 30-year career in the real estate and housing industry includes roles as mortgage lender, mortgage originator, HUD housing specialist, and community outreach. Doolin holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma.
Tim Shackelford has worked in the affordable housing industry at both OHFA and the Louisiana Housing Finance Corporation for more than two decades. Shackelford holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He serves as a member of the Oklahoma Disaster Housing Task Force and the Governor's Interagency Council on Homelessness (GICH).
Tamara Steele began her employment with OHFA as Human Resources Director in May 2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Leadership from The University of Oklahoma. Steele is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR).
