Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s board of trustees approved three HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants at its July 26 meeting.

  • Native American Housing Services, Inc. received a grant to build two single family homes for purchase in Harrah.
  • Freedom West Community Development Corporation, Inc. received a grant to build one rental home in Alva.
  • Building New Foundations, Inc. will utilize its HOME grant to acquire and rehabilitate two rental homes in Canadian County.

HOME encourages local governments and nonprofit housing organizations to build new homes, rehabilitate existing housing or make structural home repairs. HOME is designed to encourage partnerships to fund the construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income families, particularly in rural Oklahoma.
