Big Five Community Services, Inc. Receives HOME Grants

Big Five serves the residents of Bryan, Carter, Coal, Love, and Pontotoc Counties.

At its March 23 meeting, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s board of trustees approved three separate HOME Investment Partnerships Program grants to Big Five Community Services, Inc.

  • A grant for the acquisition and rehabilitation of three homes for homebuyers in Ada, Pontotoc County
  • A grant for the acquisition and rehabilitation of three homes for homebuyers in Durant, Bryan County
  • A grant for the acquisition and rehabilitation of three homes for renters in Durant, Bryan County.

HOME encourages local governments and nonprofit housing organizations to build new homes, rehabilitate existing housing or make structural home repairs. HOME is designed to encourage partnerships to fund the construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income families, particularly in rural Oklahoma.
