“This program succeeds because of the dedication of our participating lenders in assisting Oklahomans with home purchases,” said Lee Ann Smith, single family programs director.
OHFA partners with various mortgage lenders across the state to provide down payment assistance to homebuyers in all 77 counties. Qualified homebuyers receive a 30-year fixed rate low-interest mortgage loan with 3.5 percent down payment assistance. Buyers who bring their own down payment to the closing table benefit from a lower interest rate.
Teachers, first responders and state employees may also qualify for a lower interest rate.
