The Oklahoma Affordable Housing Act of 2014 (SB 2128) authorizes OHFA to award Oklahoma Affordable Housing Tax Credits (OAHTC) to developments placed in service after July 1, 2015. The amount of State Tax Credits requested cannot exceed the amount of Federal Tax Credits requested for the development. Developers may use State Tax Credits in conjunction with either 4% or 9% federal tax credits. State Tax Credits are made available to projects located in all Oklahoma counties. Nearly 6,000 units of affordable housing has been created across the state as a result.
