HOPWA Program Provides Hope

In 1994, OHFA began assisting organizations through the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS program. HOPWA  offers grants to organizations that provide rental assistance, utility and mortgage assistance. HOPWA supports supportive services such as mental health counseling, meals, nutrition, and transportation. On average, 60 families are assisted through this small but vital program each year.
