Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma Receives HOME Grant

Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma utilized a past HOME grant to purchase and revitalize this rental house in Midwest City.

 

Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma builds, renovates, or rehabs housing properties with as much energy efficiency materials as possible to help people save money on utilities and maintenance long term.

Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s board of trustees approved a HOME Investment Partnerships Program grant to Neighborhood Housing Services Oklahoma. The organization will utilize the grant to purchase and rehabilitate two houses for rent in Cleveland County.

HOME encourages local governments and nonprofit housing organizations to build new homes, rehabilitate existing housing or make structural home repairs. HOME is designed to encourage partnerships to fund the construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income families, particularly in rural Oklahoma.
