Trustees Award Tax Credits and HOME Funds

Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Board of Trustees allocated Affordable Housing Tax Credits and HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds at its Nov. 17 meeting.

Affordable Housing Tax Credits

Trustees allocated nearly $6.8 million in federal Affordable Housing Tax Credits and $1.5 million in Oklahoma Affordable Housing Tax Credits. The following properties received allocations:

  • Portland Place Apartments, a 180-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at 16010 N. Portland Ave., Oklahoma City
  • West Canute Flats, a 140-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at 902 S. Detroit, Tulsa
  • River West Phase V, a 68-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at 1126 W. 21st St., S., Tulsa
  • Disciples Village Apartments, a 96-unit development for elderly residents, will be acquired and rehabilitated at 9014 E. 31st St., Tulsa
  • Crossroads at Westchester, a 72-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at 7100 SW Gore Blvd., Lawton
  • The T Oklahoma City, Phase II, a 16-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at 3925 SE 59th St., Oklahoma City
  • Wildwood II, a 12-unit multifamily development, will be constructed at Benton and Electra Ave., Sayre
  • Trinity Gardens Apartments, a 78-unit elderly development, will be rehabilitated at 3825 NW 19th St., Oklahoma City
  • East Side Housing, a 64-unit multifamily development will be rehabilitated at E. 3rd and Booker St., Broken Bow
  • GardenWalk of Commerce, a 59-unit multifamily development will be rehabilitated at 1120 E. B St., Commerce

HOME Investment Partnerships Program

Five organizations received nearly $2 million in HOME Investment Partnerships Program awards. Awardees include:

  • Camden Point-Midwest Housing Initiatives, new construction of four units of multifamily rental housing in Broken Bow
  • Community Development Support Association, rehabilitation of 10 units of multifamily rental housing in Enid
  • Neighborhood Housing Services, acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family rental homes in Cleveland County, in areas other than Norman
  • Deep Fork Community Action Foundation, Inc., acquisition and rehabilitation of two single family rental homes in Okmulgee
  • Community Action Agency of Oklahoma City and Oklahoma/Canadian Counties received funding for down payment assistance for 15 homebuyers in Oklahoma and Canadian Counties, in areas other than Oklahoma City
