DESCRIPTION:​The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (“OHFA”) is empowered under the Oklahoma Public Trust Act\, Title 60 Oklahoma Statutes 2021\, Sections 176 et seq.\, as amended\, and pursuant to the Trust Indenture dated as of May 1\, 1975 (as amended and restated)\, to issue mortgage revenue bonds for the purpose of funding single family home mortgage loans and homebuyers’ assistance to eligible borrowers of low and moderate income purchasing eligible residences within Oklahoma (the “State”). \n\n​OHFA is considering the issuance pursuant to a common plan of finance of not to exceed $500\,000\,000 in aggregate principal amount of tax-exempt mortgage revenue bonds\, notes or similar forms of indebtedness (the “Bonds”) as a part of its 2025 single family housing loan program (the “Program”). Under the Program\, OHFA issues bonds for the purpose of making funds available for mortgage loans and homebuyers’ assistance to eligible persons or families of low to moderate income and to refund outstanding bonds of OHFA. It is the intention of OHFA to issue the Bonds under the Program and pursuant to one or more indentures of trust\, in one or more series and as one or more issues. \n\n​Pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code\,OHFA is required to hold a public hearing regarding the issuance of the Bonds in furtherance of the Program. The public hearing will be convened on January 6\, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.\, in the OHFA Boardroom\, located at 100 NW 63rd Street\, Oklahoma City\, Oklahoma 73116\, and will be conducted by an authorized employee of OHFA. Interested members of the public are invited to attend the hearing and will be given the opportunity to ask questions or to make a brief statement regarding the proposed bond issuance and the plan of financing.
