Mustang Resident Named 2010 Housing Certified Professional of the Year

MUSTANG, OKLA.— The National Association of Home Builders named Sandra McGougan 2010 Housing Credit Certified Professional of the Year at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Nev. in January.  

A Tax Credit Compliance Specialist for the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency in Oklahoma City, McGougan has been involved with the Internal Revenue Service Housing Tax Credit program for more than 15 years.  

“This is an extraordinary honor for both Sandra and OHFA. Given the wonderful feedback I have received from Sandra’s clients over the years, I know it is well deserved,” said Dennis Shockley, OHFA’s executive director.  

This award is given annually to a professional who has excelled in the management of Housing Tax Credit properties and who has earned the association’s HCCP educational designation.  

This nomination not only recognized McGougan’s achievements, but also showcased what it takes to succeed in the industry.  

The HCCP award is considered one of the most prestigious in the industry as it honors excellence and gives recognition to individuals in the field of housing development.  

McGougan, daughter of Leo and Kay Rother of Okarche, currently lives in Mustang, with her husband Mark and son Kyle.
