Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Recognizes its Top 10 Mortgage Lenders with Diamond Awards 

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Top 10 lenders in its OHFA Advantage Mortgage Revenue Bond program for 2007 were honored with a Diamond Award during the September OHFA Board of Trustees meeting. This is the third year OHFA has recognized its top performing lenders. 

By partnering with participating lenders throughout Oklahoma, the OHFA Advantage program is able to provide 30-year fixed rate low-interest mortgage loans to qualified homebuyers in all 77 counties. The 10 recipients as a whole totaled 1,483 home closings and $125.4 million in mortgage loans within the OHFA Advantage program last year.

“Each of these lenders has a proven commitment to reputable mortgage lending in the state,” said Lee Ann Smith, OHFA Single Family Programs director. “Because of their diligent work, OHFA Advantage benefits from a very low foreclosure rate.”

OHFA Advantage currently has 25 participating lenders with a multitude of branches throughout the state. Lenders who meet specific guidelines can be added as a participating lender. There is no limit to the number of participating lenders allowed within the program.
