Oklahoma 77 County Market Needs Assessment Study
The Statewide Affordable Housing Market Study was financed in whole or in part by funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as administered by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

From Adair county to Woodward county, the study shows the number of homes and rental property needed in each county, as well as demographics and economic growth trends.

The study yields the following five-year statewide housing needs forecast. Regarding home ownership, there is a need for 38,464 homes with the greatest demand in the $56,000 to $130,000 price range. Concerning rental property, 17,518 rental units are needed statewide with the greatest demand for rent payments ranging from $275 to $750.

Developers Note
The 77 County Market Needs Assessment Study does not replace the formal market analysis required in OHFA's application for housing tax credits or the Home Investment Partnerships Program.
