Apartments in Oklahoma City Recognized by Oklahoma Housing Finance
Agency with Apex Award
OKLAHOMA CITY – Temple Gardens Senior Apartments located in
northeast Oklahoma City received an Apex Award for Elderly Housing
from Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency for contributions made in
affordable housing from January to December 2006. Presented July 19
at OHFA’s Board of Trustees meeting in Oklahoma City, the annual
Apex Awards recognize people and organizations in Oklahoma committed
to affordable housing.
Temple Gardens Senior Apartments features 50 apartments for
low-income individuals age 62 and older. The new housing made it
possible for senior citizens in the area to continue living in their
community. Temple Gardens reached full occupancy within three months
of opening. Residents benefit from large common areas, daily meals,
health screenings and health education events.
