CITY Oklahoma Housing Finance Agencys Board of Trustees
approved Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
contracts to provide funding for affordable housing in
Oklahoma during its May meeting. OHFA is a U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development designated state
Participating Jurisdiction.
Delta Community Action Foundation, Inc.
received $50,000 in operating assistance to develop
affordable housing in Garvin, McClain and Stephens Counties.
Freedom West Community Development
Corporation received $50,000 in operating assistance to
develop affordable housing in Alfalfa, Dewey, Harper, Woods
and Woodward Counties.
Ki Bois Community Action Foundation,
Inc. received $50,000 in operating assistance to develop
affordable housing in Haskell, Latimer, Leflore and
Pittsburg Counties.
Little Dixie Community Action Agency, Inc. received
$50,000 in operating assistance to develop affordable
housing in Choctaw, McCurtain and Pushmataha Counties.
Neighborhood Housing Services/Oklahoma City Inc.
received $50,000 in operating assistance to develop
affordable housing in Canadian, Cleveland, Logan and
Oklahoma Counties.
Northeast Oklahoma Community Action Agency, Inc. received
the following awards to develop affordable housing in Craig,
Delaware and Ottawa Counties: $50,000 in operating
assistance; $200,000 to provide homebuyer assistance to 66
families along with $8,000 for administration; and $299,500
for the acquisition and rehabilitation of five single-family
homes.
Native American Housing Services, Inc. received $361,691 for
the construction of three single-family homes in the City of
Shawnee.
