Rental Assistance Team Specialist

Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is accepting applications for the position of Rental Assistance Team Specialist whose job duties include, but are not limited to completing schedule requests, monitoring the termination of HAP contracts, processing of daily work accurately and efficiently, maintenance of rental assistance files.

Position involves heavy phone contact, paperwork and ability to multi-task. A bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university or two to six years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy, practical problem solving skills, general math aptitude required and knowledge of Housing Choice Voucher regulations preferred. Position also requires ability to communicate with individuals from different economic backgrounds in a calm and patient manner. Certifications in Occupancy, Rent Calculation, and Housing Quality Standards is required and may be obtained within six months of hire.
