Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency Awards $5.2 Million in Affordable Housing Tax Credits

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s Board of Trustees approved at its November meeting reservations of Affordable Housing Tax Credits to build or rehabilitate affordable housing in Oklahoma. OHFA is the state’s tax allocating agency for AHTC. 

The following developers received a reservation of tax credits. The amount listed is received each year for the first 10 years of a project’s operating period. For example, a $500,000 reservation results in a total tax credit award of $5 million.

•     $600,000 reserved for Ardmore Affordable Housing, LP for the construction of 45 single-family homes in Ardmore.

•     $350,173 reserved for Excel Development Group for the construction of 14 duplexes (28 units) to be known as Smith Farm Estate in Broken Bow.

•     $600,000 reserved for Chickasha Housing Partners, LP for the construction of 36 apartments to be known as Chickasha Hotel in Chickasha.

•     $513,512 reserved for Housing Authority of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma for the construction of 25 single-family homes in Earlsboro.

•     $416,656 reserved for Holdenville Oakridge Community II, LP for the construction of 22 apartments to be known as Holdenville Oakridge Community Phase II in Holdenville.

•     $397,532 reserved for Excel Development Group for the construction of 18 single-family homes to be known as Stonebrook Estates in Konowa.

•     $339,524 reserved for Excel Development Group for the construction of 10 duplexes (20 units) to be known as Stonebrook Villas in Konowa.

•     $453,369 reserved for Zimmerman Properties, LLC for the construction of 40 apartments to be known as Westside Apartments in McAlester.

•     $600,000 reserved for Garrison Development Company for the construction of 42 apartments to be known as The Manhattan Apartments in Muskogee.

•     $600,000 reserved for MACO Development Company, LLC for the construction of 40 apartments to be known as Brooke Village Senior Apartments in Oklahoma City.

•     $300,187 reserved for Chameleon Development, Inc. for the construction of 48 apartments to be known as Skiatook Retirement Community in Skiatook.
